Tidy Up Together Wyrmling Shop Walkthrough

The small Adventurer floor where you learn matching, coins, and the cat.

Wyrmling Shop

The Wyrmling Shop is the first full-game floor in Tidy Up Together. Steam’s achievement text also writes Wrymling on the tidy and time-challenge badges. If your overlay search fails, try both spellings. This page uses Wyrmling in prose and keeps Steam’s spelling when it names a badge.

Steam markets the small shop at about 650 items. A launch review that listed exact stage counts put the smallest stage at 291. Treat those as official marketing versus a player count. Either number is still the short floor. This is where you should learn the game, not where you should prove something.

What this shop is for

Wyrmling exists to teach the tidy loop from how to play. The wreck is small enough that you can see both the floor junk and the shelf runs in one glance. Categories are readable. The green silhouette has room to make sense. If the loop feels bad here, it will not feel better on Dragon.

Play it first even if you already finished the demo. The demo is a unique shop with three categories. Wyrmling is the real campaign start.

A good first clear:

  1. Walk a full lap before you grab anything. Note where food, potions, and weapons want to live.
  2. Pick one category and empty it. Do not build a rainbow stack on night one.
  3. When coins tick at about two percent, unlock the first skill. That is the First Skill Unlocked badge. Spend it with the upgrade order.
  4. Find and pet the cat before the last aisle so you are not hunting it in Leviathan.
  5. Finish the floor. Screenshot the time if you like. That time is your baseline for the 30-minute badge.

Achievements that live here

  • Wrymling Shop Tidied — any legal clear.
  • Wrymling Time Challenge — under 30 minutes. Details on time challenges.
  • Wyrmling No Skills — a clear with no upgrades.

Do the learning clear with upgrades allowed. Then decide. The 30-minute clock is the realistic speed badge in this game. The no-skills rerun is short enough to be a palate cleanser, not a second hobby.

If you want friends on this floor, invite them. Wyrmling is the polite teaching session. Roles are optional. Laughing at a greatsword in the fruit is the whole point. The multiplayer page still helps if someone has never tidied in first person.

Common Wyrmling mistakes

Spending the first coins on a novelty instead of movement or hunt help. The mid shops will tax that. Ignoring hitboxes and blaming the game; lower sensitivity on controls. Opening Dragon the same night you bounced on pickup feel. Going for no-skills and a clock at the same time on your first save.

Use the shop checklist if you like a written finish line. Use the Items Hub if two crates still look identical. Then either replay Wyrmling for a badge or walk into Dragon with a plan.

A second evening on the same floor

Wyrmling is short enough to replay without turning the game into homework. A useful second evening is a split: one run for the 30-minute badge, or one run with the upgrade panel closed for no-skills. Do not try both on the same save if you already spent coins. The achievements page explains why a clean file is kinder.

If a friend is new, host Wyrmling even if you already have the tidy badge. Teaching the green silhouette here is cheaper than teaching it in a 2,500-item wreck. After they place a first legal stack, hand them the how to play link and let them own a tiny wing.

When you are done with this floor for real, you should be able to say three sentences out loud: how matching works, how coins arrive, and whether you want friends on Dragon. If you cannot say those sentences, stay. The large shops will not teach them more gently.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Wyrmling the same as the demo?

No. The demo is a unique smaller shop with three categories. Wyrmling is the first full-game floor.

How many items are in the Wyrmling Shop?

Steam says about 650. A launch review counted about 291 on the smallest stage. We keep both numbers visible.

Should I do the 30-minute challenge first?

Do a learning clear first. The clock is a second run once the green silhouette makes sense.

Why do some badges say Wrymling?

That is Steam's achievement text. Search both spellings in the overlay.
