Tidy Up Together Upgrade Order

A spend sequence for a slow coin drip, written from launch-player friction.

Upgrade Order

The most useful Tidy Up Together build advice is not a loadout. It is a spend order. Coins arrive about every two percent of a shop. That cadence is slower than per-shelf games, and it is the reason Dragon feels stalled if you bought a toy instead of a walk. This page is the sequence. The skill tier list is the ranking behind it. The ability planner is the short version you can keep open.

The default order

  1. First coin: hunt or grab. Unlock the function that finds or collects the product in your hand. That first spend also pops First Skill Unlocked. Do not sit on the point.
  2. Second coin: walk speed or carry. Pick the tax you already feel. If you are crossing Wyrmling twice for the same pile, buy carry. If the shop already feels long, buy speed.
  3. Third coin: the other movement tax. You want both before Dragon.
  4. Fourth coin: deepen hunt. A stronger highlight or a more reliable auto-grab beats a cosmetic node.
  5. Later coins: max the tools you use, then finish the tree for Skills Maxed.

That order assumes you are not doing a no-skills badge. For Wyrmling No Skills, buy nothing. For Dragon or Leviathan no-skills, buy nothing and accept the dare.

Why this order and not another

Launch players who liked the game still complained that points arrive slowly and that carry and walk take too long. An order that delays those stats makes their complaint worse. An order that saves coins for auto-shelf makes their complaint worse and then never pays out, because those same players say auto-shelf is missing.

The order also respects shop size. Wyrmling can be finished with one or two spends. Dragon is where the sequence earns its keep. Leviathan is where a group should compare panels so two friends are not both sitting on the same unfinished hunt node.

If you play mostly multiplayer, specialize after step 2. One player can lean highlight. One player can lean carry and become the mule. Do not all copy the host.

Mistakes that waste a week of drip

Buying a funny node because the icon is cute. Saving coins for a tool you saw in a different tidy game. Maxing one skill to 10 while you still walk like a tired shopkeep. Spending during a no-skills attempt and voiding the badge. Ignoring Color Alternatives and then buying a hunt tool to solve a contrast problem the controls page already solves.

If you already wasted early coins, do not reset unless you care about a clean no-skills file. Just follow the order with the next ticks. The drip is slow. It is not infinite punishment.

When to stop following a guide

Stop if your panel shows a node that obviously matches a pain you feel and this page has not named it. Believe the panel. Stop if a patch reworks the tree. Stop if you are only tidying Wyrmling for music and the cat. Not every save needs a build.

When the tree is actually maxed, you get Skills Maxed and this page is done. Go finish a shop instead of staring at a full panel.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What should I buy with the first skill point?

A hunt or grab function. It unlocks the First Skill Unlocked badge and starts paying off immediately.

Should I save coins for auto-shelf?

Not on the launch build players described. They say that tool is missing. Buy movement and hunt instead.

Do I need a different order for co-op?

Same early order, then specialize. Do not let the whole group stack the same node.

Can I respec?

The store page does not advertise a respec. Spend as if coins are gone. A fresh save is the clean no-skills option.
